More of Sydney

Day 3

Jeremy and I gotta figure out ourselves the way to the city coz Jon's has to work. We were given a street directory, jus like Melway where all the roads and places were all stated clearly. So no problem for us. We explored the city ourself by bus as that's the main public transport Sydney. And busses were the cheapest compared to the rest of trains. They do have trams but very limited and only in certain area.

We went to Chinatown but aside from the crowd, nothing is so special abt it. The entire city of Sydney was filled with people! Hmm.. through my observation, there were loads of Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Indian. A lot of ppl told me Sydney is like one of the asian country, u hardly see ang mohs around. So wat i heard its quite true indeed. Probably ang mohs dont hang out in city. lol.

Weather was pretty warm n Sydney. Beh tahan, had BOOST to ease my thirsty throat! yum!

Caught up with the 3 girls, Yumeko, Rachel n Cath soon after that. They went 2 days after us. We went to the ever famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House. A must visit place in Sydney. It was a very captivating place. Love it!

Us with Harbour Bridge

Cafes along Opera House. Quite happening wor...

We cant get enough of the beautiful scenery near the harbour, we decided to go closer! We paid AUD$5 jus to take a short trip to another harbour, Darling Harbour.

No regrets on paying the xtra 5 bucks. We get to take pic with both Harbour Bridge n Opera House at the same time!

Underneath the bridge...

Approaching Darling Harbour. We could slightly see some buildings there. That's Sydney's city!

Reaching... Beautiful place with nice cruise boats!

More canggih ones!

That was actually a boat restaurant we saw when we were approaching the harbour. Sure syok if i get a chance to eat there.... >.< That's how the whole Darling Harbour looks like from top.

Day 4

As for out 4th day in Sydney, met up with the 3 girls again for fish market. Jeremy and I gotta find our own way to fish market again coz our dear Jon has got things to do at home.. >.<

After much walking, we finally reach Sydney's Fish Market. Hmm.. nice environment...

SEAFOOOOOOD!!
Oh, and Ranthini was there to join us too.. :)

This was wat 5 of us had. Cost us AUD$55 for this seafood platter lei.. We get to share abit of everything in the platter n it's already 10 bucks per person. omg..... expensive~~

Headed to Sydney's Casino for a visit. Jon told us that if we join their membership, we'll have $10 creditted to the membership card. Which means we have 10 bucks to play without spending any penny! Lucky day for Jeremy, he won $100+ from the machine all at once. Whereas we girls only won a few bucks from the $10. Tonight someone's gonna belanja dinner... :P

This was taken outside the casino. White christmas for them.... Nice deco..

Another headache when approaching dinner time. What to eat lehhhh..... Jon was telling us there's this shop that sells delicious pancakes. Yum..~~ But pancake for dinner? No worries, aside from pancake, they do offer other food too.

This was what we had. Pork ribs, pizza for appetizer and our main course, PANCAKES!

One word : YUMMILICIOUSSSS....

Sydney, here i come!

Actually, i was back from Sydney more than a month ago. >.<

Day 1

We departed from Avalon Airport on 4th Dec and arrived in Sydney at abt 11.30am. So happy that my darling Tricia came down all the way from Barthust to Sydney to meet up with me. :)

We had the most spicy meal ever, really SPICY! We had Balinese food but suprisingly we two girls manage to finish the food whereas compared to the guys who struggled hard to finish up. lol.

l-r: Tricia, me, Jeremy and Jon

Jon brought us to walk around the city of Sydney. The city really reminds me of KL. It's really similar with busses and the crowd too..

Premium shopping area, Queen Victoria Building (QVB). Nice architecture.

The interior

We went in the month of Dec. This was a huge christmas tree we saw in that building. I reckon it was abt 3 storeys high. Nicely decorated with lightings.

As we walked outside the city, there were a lot of talented ppl just like in Melbourne.

Take a closer look. It is really amazing. I wondered y they can end up in the street. I reckon they should b in some sort of art gallery somehow.

Day 2

Day 2 was accompanied by Jon too. Tricia gotta go back to Barthust for work. sob sob.. Anyway, our Sydney tour guide brought us to the State library, Parliament, every little bits of Sydney. We were outside a church, but don't quite remember wat was the name d.

The interior of the church. Beautifully carved!

Yet another christmas tree.. wee!

Silly shots of us!

This is Lindt cafe, one of the famous chocs brand around the world. It's just like Prada in fashion industry. U can tell when u see how the cafe like. Looks exquisite and expensive. But suprisingly their chocolate drink werent that ex. Just the cake, cookies n brownies were not tat cheap. But it was YUM! Tempting-nye!

Sydney tower. Heard they have beautiful foods there. For sure not cheap, heard it was around $80 p/p. gosh!

More to come, more to come.....

Summer time, beach time!

It's summer peeps! Wat's the best thing should we do? Great time for beachy beachy .. :P

Our first trip to Brighton Beach wasn't a good experience... We were attacked by FLIES!! loads n loads of them!!! arghhh... Australia will soon be dominated by flies... eww....

We din expect things to turn like tat as we planned to bring foods and picnic there... Manatau...

When we took out our foods, all the flies started to come as they could smell our foods!

Ewww... look at it, look at it..

The main point of us goin to the beach is to see the sunset. We hung out for a couple of hours till we couldnt take it. The flies were just way too annoying! Eventually all of us decided to go home and finish up our dinner.

We did not give up, we went for the 2nd time. This time we jus brought some junk foods as we were traumatised by the 1st trip. Suprisingly this time, there wasn't any flies at all! Strange huh.. Probably it was a bit chiily that day that's y all the flies went hibernating. lol.

Mr Leeq planned to get his body tanned but sadly he's still "white" after sun bathing by the beach for hours.

Phewww weeett!! Baywatch ar..?

Mom & aunt hiding from the sun and cold wind.

The wave was so strong and frequent that evening.. Too bad it was cold that day, orelse i would've jump into the water d.

Just love the lighting. Makes every picture turns out good!

Mum & aunt finally dare to step their foot to the beach!

ohh... so gay! :P

Wah mom.. wat r u trying to do arr?

Again, we couldn't get to see the sunset that day bcoz of the weather.. There will be a third time to beach for the last time b4 leaving Melbourne... :(
